Invitation for Registration and Prequalification of Service Providers for 2025–2026

Date of Invitation: 17th December 2024

The Zambia Renewable Energy Association (ZARENA) is a non-governmental organization committed to driving Zambia’s transition to a sustainable and renewable energy future. ZARENA promotes awareness, advocates for policy changes, and fosters collaboration within the renewable energy industry.

ZARENA invites eligible organizations and firms to register and prequalify as service providers for the years 2025 to 2026 in the following categories:

Categories and Descriptions

1. Water Drilling, Solar Pumping, and Irrigation Systems (Category Code: 05/ZA2024)
   • Services and solutions related to water drilling, solar-powered pumping systems, and irrigation systems.
2. Branding (Category Code: 01/ZA2024)
   • Design and production of branded materials, including T-shirts, corporate shirts, caps, bags, pens, shoes, books, tier drops, pop-ups, banners, fishing jackets, and other related branding items.
3. Printing Services (Category Code: 02/ZA2024)
   • Printing of booklets, leaflets, brochures, flyers, calendars, and diaries.
4. Air Travel (Category Code: 03/ZA2024)
5. IT Supplies (Category Code: 04/ZA2024)
   • Supply of computers with minimum specifications (details to be provided in the Expression of Interest documents).
   • Supply of computer consumables (details to be provided in the Expression of Interest documents).
6. Supply of Stationery (Category Code: 06/ZA2024)
   • Supply of essential office stationery and related supplies.
7. General Office Supplies (Category Code: 07/ZA2024)
   • Supply of cleaning materials and other general office supplies.
8. Hospitality (Category Code: 08/ZA2024)
   • Provision of accommodation and conference facilities in Lusaka, Chipata, and Livingstone.
9. Motor Vehicle Services (Category Code: 09/ZA2024)
   • Bus hire – provision of spacious, well-maintained 14-seater buses.
   • Car hire – sedans and 4×4 vehicles with clear descriptions of the vehicle’s condition and specifications.

Mandatory Requirements

Interested service providers must submit the following:

1. Company profile, including a copy of the Certificate of Incorporation.
2. Copy of a valid Tax Clearance Certificate.
3. Physical address and official email address.
4. Active telephone and/or mobile phone numbers.
5. Three business client referees.
6. Schedule of fees for quantifiable categories.
7. Valid Zambia Public Procurement Authority (ZPPA) Certificate.
8. Non refundable fee of K300 deposited to the ZARENA Acc and POP attached to the documents.

Deadline for clarifications is 20th December, 2024.

Clearly specify the category which you to applying for in a sealed bid envelope. (No General Suppliers)
